Happy Easter!

The Reinhart Family had a wonderful Easter dressing up....

getting Easter baskets...

 spending time with family.....

 and hunting eggs.

But the best part of Easter is celebrating the REAL reason for Easter!
He has RISEN!  I love each year how the kids are understanding more and more about the holiday and why we celebrate it.  Yes, the other stuff is fun, but we need to remember the real reason of why we celebrate Easter!

Max is FOUR

Happy FOURTH Birthday Max Charles!!  Our little guy is super excited to be four years old!  He tells everyone that he's four and he's proud of it!

I love how both of his hands in the above picture are showing four! :)

We celebrated at home on the morning of his birthday before he and Laney headed out to school.

Pancakes with sprinkles and presents....doesn't get any better than that in the morning!

His party was Alvin and the Chipmunks.  Theodore is still his favorite, so we featured him in the center!  Max has a Theodore stuffed animal that Mommy and Daddy gave him a couple years ago and he still sleeps with "Dadore" every night.

After the birthday celebration, we took all of the kids to Monkey Joe's to burn off the cake and ice cream!!

The kids loved running, playing, and bouncing until they were pooped!

Happy 4th Birthday to my handsome Max!  That smile brightens my day.
We are so blessed to be his parents!post signature

Happy Birthday Laney!

Laney is SIX years old!  It is so hard to believe another year with our Laney Bug has come and gone.  This year, she had a "Monster University" birthday party.  Her party was at the Hampton Inn in Seymour so the kids could all enjoy the indoor pool.

With the winter we've had, the kids all enjoyed swimming and burning off some energy!  I don't know about the other kids, but mine sure had a great time!

Laney invited a few of her friends from school.  We had to put a limit on how many she could invite due to the rules of the pool.  I love that the first few on her guest list are ones that we obviously would've invited (family).  It just proved to us that she understands the value and importance of family!

Of course, after the birthday party we headed to El Nopal (our tradition!).  Laney was a little bummed because she didn't get whipped cream smashed in her face like normal.  We had to ask our server to do it to her.  There's another thing I love about that little girl!!

She woke up as a six year old with streamers and balloons hanging from her doorway.  I think I might have started something by doing that!  Thanks Pinterest!

Lastly, our tradition of pancakes in the morning for the birthday girl.  She's six years old and she LOVES telling everyone she's six now!!

I just realized when looking back for this, I forgot to ask Laney these questions when she turned 5.  Oops!!  So, the questions in () are from when she turned 4.  The answers afterwards are from when she turned 6.  Here we go....it's interview time!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (a little late!)

What a wonderful Christmas our family had!  We celebrated with family and friends and continued family traditions that will be treasured forever.

Spending an evening with the Bruce family is a favorite not only for the kids, but also the parents!  Catching up on our busy lives and the laughter of the kids playing is something we all look forward to.  The Bruce family is a special family to the Reinharts!

Charlo and Betsy make reindeer food for our kids every year to put out for Santa's reindeer.

It looks like the reindeer food worked!

We are so blessed to spend the holiday's with the ones we love.

We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The kids got to open and early Christmas gift from Mommy and Daddy....
weird thing is it was a dog collar and a dog stocking that matches Sadie's stocking.
Doesn't sound much fun, does it?

Oh but it is!!

Meet Sullivan "Sulley" Reinhart!

He is an adorable brindle boxer that is now the smallest Reinhart!

Welcome to the family, Sulley!
