Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to everyone!! We had a great Easter weekend, minus the nasty weather! We have been having lots of storms & rain here in Seymour, which is causing horrible flooding. Let's just pray we don't get the floods that we had in June 2008!

According to the Easter Bunny the kids were good!

She LOVED her basket this year! Let's just say, the crocs have been worn, the painting has been done, the pillow is being slept with, and the candy has been eaten!

Notice the remaining piece of carrot that E.B. couldn't finish!?! :) Gotta love it!

Max had a great 1st Easter! He received lots of goodies from the Easter Bunny!

His basket was overflowing with toys, snacks, books, & paint supplies. He got a cool chair and beach towel too!

Playing with a few of the plastic eggs before the rain came....again!
At least we have pretty, green grass because of it!

Happy Easter

Love,

The Reinhart Family

Max's Birthday Weekend!

Our little man is now one year old! We thought the first year with Laney went fast....shew!! Not nearly as fast as our first year with Max! For those of my friends that just recently had their second child....be prepared with how fast it goes! I'm sure it's because we are even more busy now than we were 3 years ago. Working (full time for Benj, part time for me), keeping the house (inside & outside) in order & cooking, chasing/entertaining a toddler, and now chasing/entertaining a 1 year old...

our lives our B-U-S-Y!

We did manage to take the weekend to celebrate Mr Max's first birthday! Of course, we went to our fave restaurant, El Nopal. Victor (our server we always ask for) was looking forward to giving Max some ice cream!

He was excited about it!

But wasn't so sure about wearing that hat....can you blame him?

But the end result was WELL WORTH IT!

Chocolate chip pancakes were on the menu for the morning of Max's birthday. I was hesitant in making them because his birthday fell on Sunday, which means having to get up even earlier than normal to get them made, get the kids bathed & ready, me ready, and out the door for church. After Benji pointed out that Laney got them on her first birthday,

I HAD to do it for Max!

Happy Birthday Mr Max! He wasn't too sure about it, until.....

that first bite hit his mouth....
and he was lovin' it!

He kept putting his finger up when we asked how old he was!

Then it was "Party Time" Baseball theme, of course! I'm not sure if any of you heard this story, but when Max was about 5 or 6 months old, Benji said, "Erin, have you planned what theme Max's birthday is going to be?", knowing that I get excited about planning parties, let alone, kids' parties! Thinking to myself, "Benj, it's several months away...." I replied, "Nope." He said, "It's gotta be baseball. Season opening is that week, he's a boy, we've gotta do baseball!" PERFECT...BASEBALL IT IS!

"Reinhart Field" Luckily, we had a beautiful day. It was low to mid 80's, a little windy, but

we couldn't complain.

Meeting the Easter Bunny

Grammy & Mommy took Laney and Max to meet the Easter Bunny! A local sorority in town was doing a fundraiser and offered donuts, juice, & fruit, along with games and the Easter Bunny. Laney loved seeing "her"....

Max, not so much!

This picture just shows how in "awe" kids really are at this age. She just kept staring at her. It was too cute!
